Motion Graphics are animated graphic design. Examples include animated logos, moving text, animated infographics or explainer videos. They are simple but incredibly effective at drawing attention and engagement.
Remember the iconic opening sequence for Star Wars (A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…)? Or the Google Doodles which mark special days by bringing the famous Google logo to life? They are both examples of Motion Graphics which are instantly recognisable and brilliant at holding attention.

Motion Graphics might not be as complicated as full animation (which is usually character-focused and tells a story rather than just conveying information) but it has the same vibe and the same ability to draw the eye.
